Fabric Tearing vs Cutting
- Sewers and quilters
know that you REALLY should keep your fabric on grain for garment construction and
many quilting applications.
- We used to cut fabric
instead of tearing. We no longer cut fabric yardage. Exceptions might include
fabrics that require precise cutting between panels. PLEASE do not ask Sales
Associates to cut fabric.
Sale Events and Sale
Fabrics
- Sale Events are usually very busy days. Fat quarters will not be cut on these days if they are not already available. Sorry about that.
- Sale fabrics will
require a minimum cut of 1/2-Yard. No exceptions.
- Minimum cuts at any
other time shall be 1/8-Yard.
Return
Policy
- Cut yardage and used
patterns may not be returned.
- Original store
receipt MUST accompany all returns within 30 days of purchase.
- An IN-STORE CREDIT is
exchanged for returns and is honored for up to one year from return date.
Instruction
and Assistance
- Private instruction
and assistance are free of charge when project fabric is purchased from Hen
House Quilts. Appointments are required for assistance after purchase to
accommodate regular business activities.
- A fee of $20 per hour
is charged for all other instruction and assistance.
